The 1970's where the silhoutte fashion which tended to be characterized by close fitting clothes on top with wider, looser clothes on the bottom this trend then complitly reversed itself in he early 1980's people where spotted rocking loose tops and tigher fittting touser and skirts and for the ladies tight fiting short and sofisticated dresses whrer in style. as the greater in fluence of wealth and having to show how much cheddar you got men sarted to where power suites and also grew mustaches which also was greatly influenced but televiosn shows such as Magnum P.I and also long hair was very much in fashion for guys as the influence of heavy metal music was humming at that time.
Brand names became increasgly important in this deacade hence Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein beacme household names amonst others. Music icons also became fashion icons at tht time coming in with trends that influenced and inpired a lot of young people around the globe, the like of Micheal jackson, Whitney Housten and Madonna who was at the op of the chain list at that time

The 1983 movie flashdance made ripped sweatshirs popular. the television shows Dallas and in particular , Dynasty alsohad a similar impact , especially the area of the incresingly over sized shoulder pads, Bold-bright colours, leggings and Neon colour Co-Ordinating
Through all the year one can always be certsin the keeping clothes from the past trends for if it had style it will certainly come up in the future remember fashion with no stlye fizzles but fashion with style will always make it through time if it was in the past look out for it in the present and tell you r kids too in the future. Timeless
now one thing I have observed in this particular campus will have to be the good fashion sense that most of the students have. as I went through the crowd capturing photo's of people with their friends and also getting to know how much they where enjoying the day I got t see a whole lot of diversity and fashion in this institution and I think it is safe to say tha it is one of the most stylish campus around Cape Town take a look below of some of the students in action
