Dreamcatcher and dreamcatcher's tattoo's.

Hey guys Zizo here again and today I will be talking about  a dreamcatcher, what it is ,it origins and also what it means but mostly i will be on the topic of dream catcher tattoo's and celebrities that have this amazing thing as ink (tattoo) on them. well firstly this is the meaning of a dreamcatcher that i got from the net and also some books i managed to get hold of.

The Origin

"in native american culture, a dreamcatcher or dream catcher, lakota: inhanbla gmnuka,Ojibwe: asabikeshiinh, the inanimate form of the word for "spider" or Objibwe: bawaajige nagwaagan meaning "dream snare" is a hand made object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. the dreamcatcher is then decorated with personal and sacred items such as feathers and beads.

The meaning

while dreamcatcher's  originated in Sioux nation, with relics found dating as far back as 700 AD, they were adopted by Native Americans of a number of different nations. some consider the dreamcatcher a symbol of unity among the various Indian nations, and general symbol of identification with native american or first nations cultures.

Now in this modern world dreamcatcher's are mostly popular as tattoo's and also for people that are know as hippies that spread natural form of leaving a also the popular statement "roses and not guns", " love, peace and happiness"below are a couple of pictures that i found very beautiful and creative and also some are of dreamcatchers as tattoo's

Opinion on Rihanna's You DA One music video


Hey guys Zizo here once again bringing you another hot topic which is Rihanna's new music video You Da One, well as you all know that the video is not new but this is my opinion on the video and also trying to show to you guys the similarities in the video compared to her previous video namely "Rude Boy" so lets take a look.

Paying homage to Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 A Clockwork Orange with a cane, suspenders and white top hat, Rihanna brings us her new video for “You Da One”. From her sixth album Talk That Talk, directed by Melina and penned by Ester Dean, it seems RiRi has another hit on her hands. Just recently Rihanna’s ”We Found Love” became the biggest record of her career on the charts. Obviously, she is someone who gets bored with her hair a lot, so now she’s sporting blonde wigs. Also, peep the gangsta grill. Check out her new joint… 

Rihanna gave her Navy an early Christmas Present with the release of her latest video for her second single “You Da One”.  The song is an R&B/Reggae mid-tempo compared her first single “We Found Love” which was a mega-dance track.   “We Found Love” has been number 1 for 8 consecutive weeks on the singles charts and has also become her biggest single ever.

Compared to the video for “We Found Love” this video is a step backwards only because it seemed rushed and it has some similarities to her video for “Rude Boy”.   Melina directed all three videos and everyone felt that they reached a new height with the video for “We Found Love”.  The video did so much to express the feelings of the song.  The video for “You Da One” makes the song seem slower than it really is and the dark colors don’t reflect the up-beat mood of the song.

Cape Town Pride festival *awuuuw* lets!!!

Well hey guess its me again and today have something that is different, close and dear to my heart just because it shows the courage, bravery, strength, beauty ,love, and most importantly the PRIDE that one should posses no matter what. The 04-March-2012 marked the kick off of Cape Towns Gay and Lesbian Pride festival  and as you know by now yours truly was in to catch all the action just for you. firstly  I would love to thank CPUT's ( Cape Peninsula University of Technology) Bellville Campus Organisation GLOS for inviting me to be part of their crew to go to this very colourful and amazing event. The event kicked off at the Green point traffic Department and lets just say the environment was very nice and friendly and mostly colourfull] and this got me thinking that if so much people can stand and say this is who i am and how will forever be and they beat the odds what is stopping you , you ,you and you from standing up no matter what you situation is and just be true to who you are love is love if its from ho to who that does not matter  just be true to who you are so , to all gays and lesbians out there be proud of who and what you are because your beauty comes from with in and shines even brighter when you share with the rest of the world 52 NORTH  is your home too XOXO.  Below are some pictures that I took at the pride enjoy guys
